Women & Investing

Longevity Financial understands that women face unique challenges when planning for retirement. Bradley J. Rosen, seen above with the women in his family, works closely with women in his community so they can take control of personal finances and overcome many obstacles.
Research shows that women live longer than men. Why is this relevant in the financial world? Because women must plan for longevity. They must take this fact into consideration when making financial decisions. If married, women must consider a time when they may outlive their spouse. Mr. Rosen has personally seen poor planning in his family’s older generations. Both of his grandmothers outlived their spouses by more than a decade and did not have enough money saved to sustain their lifestyles.
One key recommendation for women is that they implement a guaranteed lifetime income plan that they can never outlive.
Other important factors that specifically affect women’s financial planning are less pay, less time in the workforce, time and money spent caring for children or aging relatives, and higher healthcare costs. Longevity Financial’s goal is to empower women to take control of their finances. Women must gain an understanding of their unique financial needs at every stage of life.
